scribler is a little Applescript utility for quickly making to dos, reminders, etc, appear on the desktop (using Geektool). Save it in your Applications folder, use Butler to trigger it via a key combination. Requires Leopard, and a .txt file called scribler.txt to be saved in your Documents folder.
